SafeSport Officer and Screening Committee

Every club should have a SafeSport Officer as a member of the Board. The SafeSport Officer should oversee policy compliance, act as a resource for club members, and initiate education opportunities.

The SafeSport Officer might create a SafeSport Committee to help oversee this work. At a minimum, the club must have a Screening Committee responsible for implementing the Screening Policy. This can be a committee of one or three people.
